I needed to replace my old doorbell, but I didn’t want anything smart. Just a good old-fashioned chime like my mom used to have. I looked at a lot of video doorbells, but I wanted something that tells me when someone’s at the door without needing an account, mobile device, app, or fingerprint. I live in a two-story house, and this bell can be heard upstairs without issue. The button is responsive, and the bell rings promptly when pressed. No app needed! The sound can also be adjusted—it’s really loud. I just set it to medium and it’s loud enough for both floors of my house. It’s simple and works perfectly. Only time will tell if it holds up against the elements, but it’s exactly what I wanted.
